Another Race Team Starts Blog … Angry Dog Update

As the Blue Ridge Relay Race draws closer, another team has started a blog to chronicle the training for and running in the race. The blog is called News from the Blue Ridge Relay, and it is anchored by Kirk, a 56-year-old runner from (we think) Columbus, Ohio (or as the natives up there say, Klumbus, Ahia).

Right now, the team is looking for your help in picking out a name for the team. My suggestion, “Team Little Guy Is Kicking Our Butt!,” is not on the list. So I’ll go with “Road Biscuits.” (Same concept as my suggested name I suppose, just more encompassing.) :)

Seriously though, check ‘em out and say hello. You’ll find them at http://relaynews.blogspot.com/.

Finally, an Angry Dog update … we have this exclusive video from Lick Log Road, where the dogs are in serious training for the Blue Ridge Relay Race. No doubt about it, they raise ‘em tough up in the hills.

  1. Wow!! I get mad at my foot sometimes, too…but this is going overboard!

  2. That video of the dog is hillarious! Great find.

  3. @Warrior: I haven’t been able to touch my foot in about 10 years, so hopefully whatever that dog has I’m immune to. ;)

@Vanilla: Thanks! It helps to have no social life – gives me plenty of time to do random searches for funny dog vids on You Tube at 1:00 am.

  4. Love your blog – we are running the BRR in September and were inspired by the “Little Guy” and “News from the Blue Ridge Relay” blogs – check us out at http://brrscoop.wordpress.com.
