The senior management team at Piedmont Aviation Credit Union, which is a Silver Medal Sponsor of Team Little Guy, is tired of all this hot summer weather — so they’ve found a way to beat the heat and raise funds for TLG at the same time. The credit union is going to have a dunk tank fundraiser on Friday, August 17th starting at 11:00 am. It happens at the credit union’s headquarters, which is on Liberty Street in Winston-Salem – across the street from Smith Reynolds Airport.

The event happens Friday, August 17th starting at 11:00 am. The senior management team at PACU will take their turns in the tank. A $5 donation will get you one pitch, or you can get three pitches for $10. For $25, you can walk up and punch the bulls-eye! Finally, for $100, you can dunk everyone!

The “dunkees” include: CEO Judy Tharp, Johnny Highsmith, Jim Venesky, Patty Mauro, John Jameson and James Moore.

Now, Members Credit Union held a dunk tank fundraiser about a month ago. That’s CEO Jack Braswell taking a dive in the picture. Having attended the Members event, I can tell you the experience revealed two things:

1. Dunk tanks are fun.
2. Dunking the boss is even more fun.
