Saving the Best for Last
So I got my bib number last week and my number is 18317. Odd because I thought there were only 15000 runners. Anyway, that number puts me in the last corral to start the race. The race organizers estimate that I won’t cross the start until about 15 minutes after the real runners start. I have decided that this placement benefits me in 3 ways:
1) I won’t get passed by any other TLG runners;
2) I’ll get to see E-man finish about the time I get past the start line;
3) I’ll be able to get to know the sweep van staff so they can have my favorite beer ready.
I have also learned that rather than leave your guesstimated finish time blank you should lie. Much like Slacker obviously did to get in the corral ahead of me. By the way, it is a little unfair, albeit necessary for him, that Slacker gets a 10 minute head start on me. I won’t know which glare to reel in, the Capital Dome or Slacker’s Dome.

SMACKDOWN! LOL!
Good luck Agnoli. As one who sports a chrome dome, I can tell you they are most effective in competitive events held in sunshine. Make sure you’ve got your shades handy!
