About the Team

Team Little Guy

Team Little Guy is a group of credit union runners and bicyclists who raise money for charitable causes in the Carolinas. Since organizing in 2007, TLG has raised more than $300,000 for non-profit organizations.
Team Little Guy is currently raising funds to renovate the Rooftop Garden at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, and to renovate the lobby of the Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC. The team will ride 366 miles over six days to help raise funds for these two organizations.

The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation

logo_ccuf.jpg The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation is the cooperative charitable organization representing the credit unions of North Carolina and South Carolina, their members, and their communities. CCUF aims to embody the spirit of “People Helping People Help Themselves.”

The Little Guy

lg_race_logo.jpg The mascot for Team Little Guy is adapted from the Credit Union National Association’s Little Guy campaign. CUNA graciously allowed the team to use the TLG name and adapt his image, for which we are very grateful.

The Little Guy represents the more than 90 million people nationwide who are served by credit unions. They’re hardworking women and men from all walks of life who are often overlooked by traditional financial institutions. Teachers. Small-business owners. Soldiers. Hill staffers. The list goes on and on.
